Terms of service

These terms apply to services provided by Escenders (“we”, “us”) to you (“the client”). By accepting a quote, paying an invoice or starting a plan, you agree to them. Each project’s quote or proposal sets out the specific scope, which takes priority over these terms where they differ.

Services and scope

We deliver the work described in your chosen package or written quote. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before we start.

Payment

• Website and one-time projects: 50% before work starts, 50% at launch or delivery.
• Monthly plans: billed in advance each month.
• Prices are in USD and exclude any taxes that apply in your country.

Cancellation

Monthly plans are month-to-month. You can cancel before your next billing date and the plan ends at the close of the paid month. Deposits for one-time projects are non-refundable once work has started.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide content, access and feedback on time, and confirm you have the rights to any material you give us.

Ownership

Once paid in full, you own the website, content and deliverables we create for you. We may keep a copy for our records and, unless you ask us not to, mention the project in our portfolio. Third-party tools, themes and plugins remain under their own licenses.

Results

Search engines and AI platforms are controlled by third parties. We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, citations or revenue. We do guarantee to perform the work in your plan with reasonable skill and care.

Liability

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes apply to new projects and to monthly plans from the next billing cycle.
